About Us

Planet Sea is a Miami-based Brazilian-made children’s swimwear line that creates unique, stylish and comfortable beachwear and flip-flops. Our goods can be found in boutiques, resorts, department stores and online retailers around the world. Since 1999, we have worked tirelessly to evolve our products to have the highest level of comfort, safety and of course, style! All of our products are made with high quality and hi-tech fabrics, UV safety features and artisanal hand-made embellishments.

About this Collection

This year’s collection features a wide assortment of textures, materials, shapes and accents. Our styles range from puffy sleeves to high waist sets, crop-tops, rash guards, and sunsuits. Our selection of coverups is expanding to include stylish kimonos, chic kaftans, cute rompers, PJ look sets and flowy summer dresses. Those familiar with Planet Sea will recognize our assortment of paisley-style prints, nautical themes, seersucker fabric and our classic striped and floral patterns. To top off these delightful styles, each model is finished with embellishments such as lace, crochet, hand-made embroidery or other thoughtful details.

With a growing concern for skincare and protection, all of our suits have UV protection UPF50+. We offer rash guards, cover-ups and essential accessories to ensure great fun and safety in the sun.

New to this season’s collection are an array of accessories to match the swimwear styles: hats, sunglasses, bandannas and headbands can all be made in matching fabrics to complete the full look.

Keeping Seas Clean

We do our part to help preserve the future of our planet by using environmentally-friendly fabrics so that children will be able to enjoy the beautiful beaches and oceans for generations to come. In this effort, our collection features unique “Ocean Eco” fabrics, which are not only made of fully recycled materials (like plastic bottles!) but are also incredibly soft and quick-drying.

We are committed to creating a more equitable world and providing opportunities to people faced with adverse situations. Every year we donate hundreds of suits to organizations like the Kids Wish Foundation which takes children with limited resources on field trips to beaches and water parks.

Our products are hand-made in small-scale women-led cooperatives in Brazil, boosting economic opportunities for artisans and their families. We love and support our talented production teams, based in the peripheries of São Paulo. Regular trips to production sites ensure workers' safety and the highest quality of the finished goods.
